Looking for a Cable / Satellite / Fiber / TiVo Replacement

I'm in the market for a television alternative, other than cable, satellite, and fiber (i.e., no phone company offerings). What I'm really looking for is an online solution, or set of solutions, such that I can watch television on my television as opposed to on my PC. Here are my detailed requirements:

• Small form-factor (like Apple TV or Mac Mini) that can sit alongside, or on top of, my stereo rack components
  
• Connectivity to my old-fashioned TV (Video composite connection) as well as an HDTV, DVI, and component. If you hadn't guessed, I don't own a Hi-Def TV and don't anticipate owning one until there is plenty of compelling material to warrant its purchase
• Large hard drive capacity (or ability to add on via FireWire and/or USB)
• It must be able to "record" and download Apple's video (and music), Amazon, and bittorrents
• The power of a PC
• The functionality of a TiVo
• The price of a small salad
  
• Shows I'd like to get for as little $$$$ as possible
• The Daily Show
• The Colbert Report
• Deadliest Catch
• Letterman
• NCIS
• Feel free to add to this list of specs for the ultimate TiVo/PC/Cable/Satellite/Fiber replacement
